failed

I have acknowledged that I will fail due to my lack of pictures. It is completely my fault and I will suffer the consequences. But InDesign sucked I would have much prefered to have used word or publisher, I will get my retribution on InDesign hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am getting very agitated with 'InDesign'; 'enter' does not do anything at all. I cannot paste from 'Word' properly and I cant change the options on InDesign

Problem

I have a very big problem I have too much text, to make it worse 'InDesign' isint cooperating it wont let me do much I cant even start a new line; when ever i press 'enter' it ignores it so if i make a mistake like delete a line accidently I have to paste everything from 'Word' again so i am not going to even try puting a picture in the middle of my text because it would be way too much of a hastle I was meant to do this according in my concept sketch. But I will still try to stick with my sketch as much as I can if 'InDesign' cooperates; Indesign just sucks.

Progress

I am making definite progress and I have definetly passed everything when it comes to my sources but I realise that i cannot get a merit/excellence because i only used one source. I have really done alot of rewording so I hope I have got an acheived in that area.

Finally finished

I have finally finished information appropriation and transformations; I have finally put all my information into my own words and i have finished most of my bibliography. Now last but most definetly not least i have to actually put all my information into a leaflet with lots of designs and pictures.

Work

I am doing really really well at my work i have finished my article on short term effects and i am 3 quarters done on my long term effects of alcohol. But i am being very pesimestic when it comes to the article due to some of the articles having some positive studies about binge drinking but i am just ignoring these and studies and carying on with the other ones. I have managed to put about 8 pages of work into 1 and a half of my own. But now i need to finish the work on my visual diary.

First day back

The first day back is always hard but I will continue with my project, I am doing really well with my article on short term side effects and I will start with my article on long term side effects of alcohol very soon; So I am on track.

New stuff

We have just been tought some new proccesses in InDesign like pen tool, wrap text and 'type on a path' tool

survey

This is my survey to question teenagers about their usage of alcohol. This will increase my knowledge of the usage of alcohol by teenagers.

progress

I am on track at the moment and I am making progress. I am researching 'the dangers of alcohol' and creating my bibliography according to that. But I am getting confused and don't fully know what to do.

Brief

Well as I said before I have to make a 3 page booklet on the dangers of alcohol, I will be making this in InDesign.
I will be targeting teenagers. This must use a style which will attract teenagers. I will use compelling images and modern design with a vocabulary which will target teenagers and maybe some txt langauge, maybe.
I must use information from many sources including the internet, books, newspapers, magazines, pamphlets, databases, interviews etc.
I will also write a bibliography on all these sources.

NEW PROJECT!!!

We have to make a 3 page booklet informing teenagers on the dangers of alchohol. It has to obviously target teenagers with modern, funky style.

We have to obviously do alot of planning and preparation.

Sam is my subject. He says his style is dark and yet he likes world peace. So I was thinking of darkening his piture and adding the A for anarchy sign and the peace sign. But I dont know what to put for the text and where to put it. I know it will be red as Sams favourite colours are black and red. Still I dont fully know what to do.

From the interview I knew Sam liked peace, but I could also tell he was joking. I need to do a proper interview to gain more knowledge that should help me in my design about Sam.

My design is meant to be about Sam Findlay. According to the interview that we had he described his style as 'dark', he thought the chidren of the world inspired him and he also said that he started design in order to restore world peace. So i thought of using dark silhouettes and peace signs inside those silhouetes
